Face-to-Face Meeting with Industry Representatives within the Scope of Continuous Improvement of the Construction Technology Program
On October 26, 2026, a face-to-face meeting was held at Burhaniye Municipality with Uğur Sevinç, Head of the Reconstruction and Urban Planning Department, and Erman Bey, Representative of Şura Building Inspection Company, within the scope of the continuous improvement of the Construction Technology Program.
During the meeting, recent developments in building inspection processes, updates in zoning legislation, challenges encountered during concrete testing, chip tracking system applications, and new inspection systems implemented by the municipality were discussed.
The importance of reflecting current industry practices and legislative changes in the Construction Technology Program curriculum was emphasized. Furthermore, evaluations were made regarding the alignment of students' professional knowledge and skills with current industry requirements, focusing on the continuous enhancement of the educational content in line with sectoral developments.
