Technical Field Trip Organized by the Construction Technology Program

A technical field trip was organized for the 2nd-year students of the Construction Technology Program at Balıkesir University Edremit Vocational School to enhance their professional knowledge and practical skills. Within the scope of the trip held on Monday, May 11, 2026, students visited a residential construction site currently being developed by Keleşler Group A.Ş.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to examine building production processes on-site and received detailed information regarding foundation applications, reinforced concrete structural systems, formwork and scaffolding works, as well as occupational health and safety practices.

Company officials and technical staff provided practical briefings on-site, demonstrating the field applications of the knowledge acquired in theoretical courses. Furthermore, students had the chance to closely observe site organization, the equipment used, and the various stages of the construction process.

It was stated that the technical trip was highly productive in terms of contributing to the students' professional development and providing them with industry experience. At the end of the program, appreciation was expressed to the officials of Keleşler Group A.Ş. for their contributions to the trip.
