What is MEDEK?
MEDEK stands for the Vocational Education Assessment and Accreditation Association. Established in 2021, the association's official website is: https://medek.org.tr/
In 2023, the association was authorized by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) to conduct accreditation for 83 Vocational School programs, ensuring their compliance with established standards, quality criteria, and performance benchmarks.
Mission of MEDEK: To contribute to the improvement of education and training quality by providing information, external evaluation, and accreditation services for associate degree programs.
Vision of MEDEK: To be a leading organization that certifies quality by defining the education, research activities, and administrative processes of associate degree programs, as well as the quality of the intermediate workforce in line with national and international standards, and sharing the results with relevant institutions and organizations.
Purpose of MEDEK: To lead the cultivation of qualified professionals who follow vocational developments, respond to changing workforce needs, possess high vocational skills and expertise, are innovative, bear social responsibility, take initiative, and are sought after by the relevant sectors.
